Hike in price for the Kushaq SUV for the third time
Skoda has increased the cost of its Kushaq SUV for the third time this year. Based on the most recent price increase and depending on the version, it is now up to Rs 60,000 which is considered more expensive. Starting from November 1, the SUV’s revised pricing will be in effect.
The most recent price hikes vary from Rs 20,000 to Rs 60,000 for the stylish 1.5 MT and Monte Carlo 1.5 MT models.
The SUV has currently priced between Rs 11.59 lakh and Rs 19.69 lakh. For comparison, the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, a competitor of SUV, was launched in India in June of last year, with pricing ranging from Rs 10.50 lakh to Rs 17.60 lakh ( all prices, ex-showroom)
As previously stated, this is the third price rise for the Kushaq in 2022, with the previous two occurring in January and May of this year, respectively. Aside from the two Korean SUVs, it is competing against its cousin, the Volkswagen Taigun, as well as the recently debuted Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
