Recently, Tata Motors has once again became a trending topic to the customers by launching its new product Tigor.ev Sedan. It has an extended range of 315 km as per the certificate of ARAI. Moreover, the updatee version also includes new tech and features to the car.
Currently, Tigor.ev is available in a new Magnetic red color option. It is estimated that the new range of the product begins at a price of Rs 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Additions like leatherette upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel, rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps and cruise control are also included in the new product.With smart additions like multi-mode regen, connected car technology called Zconnect, smartwatch connection, iTPMS, and tyre puncture repair kits that will be included as standard across the range, Tigor.ev provides greater technology.
In similar to the Nexon EV Prime, the company is expanding a free of cost feature update pack to the current owners of Tigor.ev via a software update. The options for customers to upgrade their vehicles include Multi-Mode Regeneration, iTPMS, and Tyre Puncture Repair Kit. Furthermore, current owners of the XZ+ and XZ+ DT models can upgrade their Smartwatch connectivity. This service is available by visiting any authorised service centre of the company starting from 20 th December 2022.
The product delivers peak power output of 55 kW and a peak torque of 170 Nm. It is powered by a 26 kWh liquid cooled, high energy density battery pack and an IP67 rated battery pack and motor to make it weather proof.
According to Shailesh Chandra, the Managing Director, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd stated that the EV industry is witnessing tremendous growth and is gaining popularity in the Indian market. With 50,000 Tata EVs on road and an 89% market share (YTD), the company is solely driving this shift with our extensive portfolio.
He also claims that the Tiago.ev received a tremendous response as it garnered over 20K bookings in just a month since its launch.
In addition to this, he explained that the lastest version of the Tigor.ev has been updated with more tech and premium features. Tata Motors has been analysing the insights on the customer driving pattern received from the 600 million kilometers covered on Indian roads.
